Description
An Impressive William & Mary Style Carved Slat Back Armchair with upholstered seat. The tall back surmounted by a pierced cresting rail of voluted scrolls above five splats elaborately carved with columns of twinned broken S-scrolls and flanked by multi baluster knopped uprights topped with turned finials. The outswept scroll-end arms on bulging scroll supports above similarly carved legs united by turned peripheral stretchers. The seat upholstered in brown leather edged with brass studs, 52” (132 cm) high, 30” (76 cm) wide.
