A Fine Carved Walnut Caned Side Chair, Circa 1700 of good rich colour & patination. The tall caned back panel framed by wonderful exuberant scrollwork beneath a pierced foliate crested top rail, flanked by multi-baluster knopped uprights surmounted by turned finials. The scrolling legs united by a carved front rail and turned H-form under-stretcher, 122 cm high, 45 cm wide (48” h. 17¾” w.)
