A Late 16th/Early 17th Century Oak Coffer. The plank top in a moulded frame above a joined twin-panelled facade and plank sides. The front having a nulled frieze rail over decorative lozenge carved panels centred by wrythen whorls. The framework with a moulded muntin and channelled bands to the base rail and tall stile supports. The end planks cut-in with stepped V-form feet, 24¾” (63 cm) high, 43” (109 cm) wide, 16” (41 cm) deep.
