An Imposing 15th Century Oak Carved Sculpture of an Angel holding remnant of a cross [reputed to be from St Mary & St Peter’s Church, Harlaxton, Lincolnshire, removed in the 1890’s during major work]. The figure depicted with out-swept curly hair, wearing a cloak secured by a quatrefoil brooch at the chest and hanging in cascading folds over a long belted tunic. [There is presently an angel monument in stone at the church with the same exuberant hairstyle].
