Four Items of Silver: A cup with high looped handle, hallmarked London 1899 with Hukin & Heath (John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton) maker’s punch, engraved on base with retailers JC Vickery 179-181 Regent Street, and having an engraved crowned monogram to the front above inscription ‘from L.H. Xmas 1900’ (approx 98 g). A George III Oval Jug by Samuel Meriton II London 1793 with reeded edging, engraved monogram and gilt interior (approx 142 g). Another jug of oval semi-reeded form with a gadrooned rim above a decoratively engraved foliate shoulder band, a crown to one side and armorial eagle & lion to the other, TI maker’s punch for Thomas Law (probably) and Sheffield hallmark for 1804 (approx 160 g). And a Victorian dish with out-turned serpentine rim decorated with wrythen flutes and strings of beading radiating out from the centre and raised on three Green man masked scroll feet, stamped with Beare Falcke’s maker punch and London hallmarks for 1865 (approx 133g) (approx 535 g total).*
