A Fabulous Late 18th/Early 19th Century Satinwood & Piqué work Box of rectangular form. The lid adorned with facetted steel pin heads centred by initials OF within a scrolling flourish, and bordered by a band of S-scrolls issuing trefoils. The front embellished with further steel piquéwork surrounding the key hole, with working lock & key enclosing a padded silk interior, 6¼” (16 cm) high, 17” (43 cm) wide, 11 (29 cm) deep.
