A similar spindle back side chair attributed to Shropshire with elm seat circa 1820-60. A late 18th/early 19th century Dales armchair with spindled back and basket weave seat 45” (114 cm) high, 24” (61 cm) wide. And a 19th century bar-back chair with three turned ball knops adorning the back and a sea-grass seat on turned legs united by stretchers.
