An ‘Agnus Dei’ Papal Sacramental from the Leo XIII Pontificate. The oval medallion moulded from melted Easter candles with The Lamb of God, dated 1894, and edged with gilt scrollwork. The artefact encased in a crimson velvet lined frame having a granulated mount, beading and ropetwist borders to the moulded surround. The wax 4 in x 3¼ in (10 cm x 8 cm), the frame 13½ in x 11½ in (34 cm x 29 cm).
