A Pair of 17th Century Spanish Walnut Armchairs. The broad rectangular backs and slung seats covered with tapestry panels woven with fruit and foliage attached with brass studs. The uprights having intricately carved finials incorporating face masks below scrolled capitals swagged with foliage. The arms resting on turned posts above square legs united by pierced front rails carved with voluted scrolls, 43” (109.5 cm) high, 28¾” (73 cm) wide.
