The rectangular padded back, square uprights and upholstered seat covered in machine woven tapestry patterned with urns of flowers and birds in sweeping strap-work divides, and edged with crimson tasselled fringing. The spiral turned legs united by a high similarly turned front rail and conforming H-form under-stretcher, terminating with stylised paw feet, 39” (99 cm) high, 18½” (47 cm) wide.
