A Large 19th Century Dutch Marquetry Vitrine/Display Cabinet. The upper section having a shaped and moulded cornice centre by a foliate carved crest above two glazed doors flanked by canted glass panelled sides, enclosing a painted interior with shelves. The framework enriched with trailing flowers and foliage. The canted base having panel doors depicting ornate urns of roses and tulips with a pair of birds perched amongst the blooms, and baskets of flowers hanging from ribbon bows to the sides, framed in further flowering vine and raised on ebonised bun feet, 84½” (215 cm) high, 69” (175 cm) wide, 13” (33 cm) deep.
