An Early 19th Century Oak Long Case Clock by Wheeler of Bridgnorth. The 12” (30.5 cm) square enamel dial painted with a gold finch amidst sprays of flowers to the centre above an arched calendar aperture encircled by the painted chapter ring, and embellished with floral sprigs to the corners. The case having a flat topped hood with turned brass-capped columns flanking the dial, above a lip-moulded trunk door inlaid with cross-banding and flanked by canted corners, standing 74” (188 cm) in height.
