Description
A Pair of Splendid 19th Century Marquetry Standing Corner Cabinets with ormolu mounts. The serpentine front tops and cupboard doors richly decorated with inlaid panels of floral displays depicted in various pen-worked veneers and green stained bone contrasted against an ebony ground and edged with chequer stringing. The surrounds adorned with scrolling gilt mounts, the pilasters headed by laurel wreathed face masks and terminating on scroll feet, 33½” (85 cm) high, 26” (66 cm) wide.
