A Fine 18th Century New England Oak Lowboy. The rectangular top having a moulded edge with re-entrant corners. The frieze housing two deep side drawers flanking two shallow drawers set one above another and moulded with a dome-topped concave arch to the centre. The drawer fitted with brass pendant handles on quadriform mounts embellished with engraving framed by cross-banded borders within lip moulded edges. Standing on square cabriole legs carved with raised trefoiled motifs to the hip and terminating on pointed pad feet, 28½” (72 cm) high, 28” (71 cm) wide, 21½” (54 cm) deep.
