An 18th Century Ash & Elm Comb-back Windsor Armchair of unusual form attributed to the Thames Valley. The bowed top rail having upswept lobe terminals above a long shaped centre splat flanked by eight long ash spindles piercing the arm hoop with ten under arm spindles and shaped end splats. The D-shaped seat with moulded edge to the curve, standing on splayed, rising baluster legs tapering down to pointed pad feet at the front and turned terminals to the base, 42” (107 cm) high, the seat `6” (41 cm) high, 24” (61 cm) wide.
