A Late 19th Century Diamond Bangle, Circa 1880. The front designed as a series of eleven graduated old European cut diamonds (approx weight 1.15 metric carat) measuring from 3.77 mm to 2 mm in diameter with 8 and 6 claw illusion style settings, between a pair of scrolls sprays of 18 rose cut diamonds (approx weight .30 carat) measuring from 2.5 mm to 1 mm. The hollow plain polished half bangle with concealed clasp; the tongue with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and silver. Otherwise the bangle is unmarked, XRF tested as approx 18 carat yellow gold with silver front and settings.
