A Georgian Japanned Box of rectangular form. The hinged lid decorated in raised lacquers and gilding with a chinoiserie graden and three figures on a black ground, and sprays of flowers to the sides. The interior lined in cerise silk and fitted with a lift out tray. Standing on decorative cast brass ball feet, 3” (7.5 cm) high, 11½” (29 cm) wide, 6¾” (17 cm) deep.
