Description
Three 19th Century Straight-pull Corkscrews having decoratively turned bone handles. An unmarked Henshall corkscrew circa 1850 with dusting brush & ring mount to the handle on a ribbed graduated steel shank with octagonal knop above a petal-edged button and simple wire helix, 5½” (14 cm) in length. Another circa 1820, with a knopped brass shank, Henshall type button with wrythen fluting and wire helix, 5½” (14 cm) in length. The third with an unusual baluster shank with discoid button above a simple wire helix, and a dusting brush to the bone handle, 6¼” (16 cm) in length.
