Description
Three Delightful 18th Century Bilston Enamel Patch Boxes of rectangular form. One having a slightly domed lid depicting a fete champêtre above fluted sides adorned with sprays of flowers, approx 2½” (6 cm) in width. The second delicately painted with a musical trophy to the centre of the lid and swagged garlands of pink roses tied in fluttering blue ribbon bows to the borders and sides. The smallest with polychrome scenic cartouches embellished with white enamel scrollwork to the borders on a pale lavender blue ground.
