A Large & Impressive 19th Century Gothic Revival Armorial Panel of Trapezoid form, emblazoned with a heraldic shield surmounted by a pair of crowned and plumed helm amidst undulant scrolls of acanthus, with a fluttering banner to the base inscribed with motto ;’INGENIO ET LABORE’. The crest with an moulded lancet arched inner frame enriched with Gothic tracery displayed against a gold painted ground. 57” (145 cm) high, the base 73” (185 cm) wide, tapering up to the top to 36½” (93 cm).
