Description
Two 19th Century Windsor Armchairs. One of ash & elm having seven stick spindles passing through the arm bow with three further under arm spindles and a baluster turned end post either side leading to an elm seat on baluster turned legs united by an H-form stretcher, 36” (92 cm) high, 22½” (57 cm) wide, the seat 16½” (42 cm) high. The other attributed to Yorkshire with a pierced upper & lower centre splat flanked by six spindles and six further underarm spindles with baluster turned end posts leading down to an alder seat on ring moulded baluster legs united by an H-form stretcher, 38” (97 cm) high, 23” (59 cm) wide, the seat 18” (46 cm) high, 19” (48.5 cm) wide.
