A Small Early 20th Century Bonheur du Jour. The oval top with leather insert and a gallery back centred by a concaved niche with drape & tassel cast beading, flanked by small drawers. The sides sweeping around and down to the front, and surmounted by seated bronze figures of cherubs holding diminutive infants. The serpentine apron housing a drawer raised on slender cabriole legs with caryatid mounts leading down to the foliate scroll sabots. 38½” (98 cm) high, 33” (84 cm) wide, 18½” (47 cm) deep.
