The white ground decorated in Renaissance style with coloured birds and beasts amongst lavish scrolls of foliage, gilt edged cartouches and Louis-Philippe’s monogram within a diamond panel to the borders encircling a gilded key pattern bands and gilt star design to the centre, 9½” (24 cm) in diameter.
