A 17th Century Oil on Oak Panel: Half length portrait of a lady aged 34, depicted wearing a plumed black hat, lace-edged ruff collar and black dress trimmed with white lace, with strings of coral around her wrist. Inscribed top left ‘ÆTATIS SVA 34 1616’, 24” x 17” (61 cm x 43 cm). Set in a later black moulded frame with painted gilt embellishments to the corners, 30” x 23½” (76 cm x 60 cm).
