The tall caned back panel in a moulded twin-arch topped frame flanked by turned side columns and surmounted by an elaborate pierced & carved cresting rail with entwined C-scrolls to the centre, leafy flourishes and voluted ends. The caned seat on egg knopped ‘braganza’ style legs united by a decorative pierced & carved dome-topped front rail and a lower stretcher with twin looped detail centred by a finial. 49½” (125 cm) high, 17¾” (45 cm) wide.
