The lobed sides painted with exotic birds in panels reserved on a scale-blue ground enriched with scrolling gilt embellishments. The lid surmounted by a gilt bronze finial cast in the form of a fruit sprig, 5” (13 cm) high, 6” x 5” (15 cm x 13 cm).
