A Pair of 19th Century High Backed Side Chairs in the 17th century style, manner of Daniel Marrott. The pierced break arch ended back panels profusely carved with urns of flowers to the centre amidst broken S-scrolls enriched with foliage, surmounted by open carved foliate cresting rails. The caned seats on inverted cup-knopped legs tapering down to squat bun feet, and united by wavy X-form stretchers mounted with turned finials to the centre, 33½” (136 cm) high, 19¾” (50 cm) wide.
