The planked lid with moulded edge and iron strap hinges opening to reveal a lidded candle till to one end of the interior. The frieze carved with zoomorphic scrolls to the front flanked by green man face masks, with wrythen rosettes amidst voluted scrolls to the sides. The triple arcaded panel front and single arcaded panel sides inlaid with birds perched on flowering plants. The muntins and stiles adorned with carved atlantes and caryatids. The moulded base on stile feet, 27” (69 cm) high, 55” (140 cm) wide, 22½” (57 cm) wide.
