The screw off diverging upper section having a moulded, slightly domed top centred by a bone ferrule for inserting a lit waxed vesta. The ring turned base with a recessed underneath for a piece of glass or emery paper for use as a striker. 3½” (9 cm) high, 2¼” (5.5 cm) in diameter.
