The panelled back surmounted by a pierced cresting rail of S-scrolls dotted with carved beads, above a horizontal upper panel of interlinked fleur-de-lys and C-curves, and a lozenge carved principal panel below. The arms resting on turned posts leading down to a planked seat on turned legs united by peripheral stretchers, 44¾” (114 cm) high, the seat 18½” (47 cm) high, 23” (59 cm) wide.
