A Fine Mahogany Fitted Travelling Jewellery Box of rectangular form. The exterior having a shaped brass inlaid plaque to the centre of the hinged lid, with inset brass corner brackets, a escutcheon and swing handle to the sides and front of the base drawer. The lid rising to reveal two lift-out trays set one above the other; divided into four & two velvet lined compartments over a further single compartment below. The base drawer secured by a brass rod enclosed by the lid, and fitted with various boxes and ring compartments. 9” (23 cm) high, 10¼” (26 cm) wide, 7½” (19 cm) deep.
