Description
A Large Late 18th/Early 19th Century Pontypool Tôle-ware Tray of dodecagonal form. The centre painted with a scenic panel depicting a lady and girl dancing to a man playing a pipe in landscape framed by a border of gilded floral embellishments. The pierced incurvate gallery sides having beaded edges and a fitted with a pair of carrying handles, 29” (74 cm) wide including handles.
