Mary depicted with golden brown hair wearing a head scarf, flowing white robe dotted with gilding and belted at the waist with a blue drape wrapped around and hanging in drapes, decorated with gilt stars and border. The Christ child wearing a conforming tunic. Losses to an arm & foot of both figures. Mounted on a separate giltwood base with moulded serpentine edges, 35½” (90 cm) in height.
