A Fine Quality Harlequin Set of Ten Carved Oak Lancashire Back Stools, attributed to Lancashire Circa 1680-1720. Each chair having a domed top rail above a single back panel richly carved with a flowering plant issuing leaves, flowers and fruit flnaking a central bloom. The uprights topped with pyramidal finials. The seats furnished with fitted swab cushions covered in worn and faded crimson velvet with piped trim, and standing on decoratively turned legs united by peripheral stretchers. Fine colour and patination.
