A 19th Century Gilt Overmantel Mirror in the Louis XVI Style. The bevel-edged mirror having a slightly domed top flanked by incurvate corners. The moulded frame carved with flowers entwined in ribbon with beaded inner edge, and surmounted by a crested pediment with a trophy featuring Cupid’s quiver of arrows and flambeau encircled by a laurel wreath with sprays of foliage either side, 60” x 39½” (152 cm x 100 cm).
