A Fine Mahogany Cased Aneroid Barometer by E J Dent. The 4½” (11.5 cm) diameter silvered dial inscribed EJ Dent Paris 1919 and ‘Aneroid Barometer’ along the bottom, set in a turned gilt metal surround with an adjustment screw to the back below a printed paper instruction label. The square mahogany case having a hinged lid with moulded dial aperture secured by lock and key and fitted with a hanging mount to the back, 6½” (16.5 cm) wide.
