Description
A 19th Century Marble Topped Giltwood Pier Table in the Louis XVI Style. The brêche marble top with incurvate sides and moulded edge raised on stop fluted tapering legs enriched with bands of imbricated laurel leaves and recessed chains of bell-flowers rising up the flutes, united by a curved X-form stretcher edged with beading. The frieze centred by a carved sprays of roses with patera motifs to the corners. 35” (89 cm) high, 43” (109 cm) wide, 19” (48 cm) deep.
