A rectangular calico cushion embellished with steel beads forming an inscription; ‘Boy or Girl Care not whether May Happiness Attend the Mother’ surrounded by undulating foliate stems edged with fringing 6” x 6½” (15 cm x 16 cm). The smallest covered in a trellis mesh of small ruby & clear glass beads edged in beaded tassels 2” (5 cm) square.
