The piece decorated in yellow, ochre and blue glaze and having a central roundel depicting a winged angel with dolphin, framed by a yellow & ochre striped band emitting a diagonal cross of similar bands dividing the surroundings into four panels of anthropomorphic scrolls, birds and foliage, edged with a painted ‘ropetwist’ border, 15½” x 11½” (39 cm x 29 cm).
