Description
A Fine 17th Century Carved Oak Livery Cupboard of modest proportions. The moulded plank top above a frieze of linked foliate S-scrolls running along the sides and front with a central panel door flanked by side panels of carved arabesque motifs in decorative chip carved framework. The end panels emblazoned with daisy wheels encircled in guilloche quatrefoils. The scalloped lunette carved apron rails enriched with punchwork and raised on marrow turned legs leading down to a pot board with scalloped, channel-molded base. 40½” (102 cm) high, 40½” (103 cm) wide, 15¾” (40 cm) deep.
