The twin plank lid with moulded edge having iron loop hinges and a lock & key enclosing a small lidded candle box decorated with punch-work to one side of the interior. The frieze rails richly carved with demi-lune flower-heads adorned with punch-work above twin panel sides and a triple panel front and back. The arcaded facade lavishly carved with S-scrolls, flowers and foliage, standing on stile feet united by a scrolling apron rail to the front, 33½” (85 cm) high, 55½” (141 cm) wide, 23½” (59.5 cm) deep.
