The hinged rectangular lid and flared sides elaborately carved with scrolling flowers & foliage and mounted with Limoges plaques depicting biblical scenes in white, black and flesh tone enamel enriched with gilding. The lock with key enclosing a padded & buttoned burgundy silk lined interior, 6” (15 cm) high, 9” (23 cm) wide, 7” (18 cm) deep.
