A Pretty Louis XVI Style Carved Giltwood Mirror. The beveled rectangular glass in a moulded surround with break front corners, edged with rope-twist beading to the periphery, lotus flower beading to the inner rim and fine bands of coiled leaves in-between. The top surmounted by a fluttering ribbon bow festooned with garlands of flowers threaded through the break corners and hanging down either side. The base adorned with a pair of love birds. Fitted with a strut support as well as suspension rings to the back 25½” (65 cm) high, 16½” (42 cm) wide.*
