The twin-peaked top rail with upswept lobe terminals above a tall shaped centre splat flanked by three long ash stick spindles and splats either side, piercing through the arm-bow with four further underarm spindles to the sides and shaped splat supports to the ends. The generous elm seat morticed and wedged to cabriole legs on pad feet united by a turned-form stretcher, 42¾” (109 cm) high, 28½” (72.5 cm) wide, the seat 18½” (47 cm) high.
