Description
A 19th Century Oak Wainscot Chair. The shaped cresting rail carved with a pair of voluted S-scrolls and pendant sprays of stylised foliage. The uprights flanked by shaped ‘ear-pieces’ and framing a lozenge carved back panel. The arms resting on turned posts leading down to a solid seat standing on bobbin turned legs united by peripheral stretchers, 46” (17 cm) high, 22” (56 cm) wide, the seat 18” (46 cm) high.
