A Fine Antique Chinese Carved Ebony Standing Display Unit. The rectangular top surmounted by a pierced pediment carved with undulating scrolls of foliage and crested with a peony bloom to the centre, above an arrangement of various staggered shelves with a base cabinet to one side and drawer to the other. The shelves edged with pierced foliate carved gallery rails and adorned with turned finials to the corner posts. The gadrooned base raised on stylised paw feet, 66” (168 cm) high, 32½” (82.5 cm) wide, 13½” (34 cm) deep.
