A Vintage Chinese Style Free-standing Stacking Tray-topped Table on Cupboard Base. The rectangular tray top quarter-veneered in coromandel with tray moulding to the border standing on L-section legs with out-swept feet united by peripheral stretchers with simple ornamental block brackets to the corners. The table (used independently) 15¾” (40 cm) in height, 29½” (75 cm) wide, 21½” (54.5 cm) deep. The base having a conforming tray top, smaller in size, above mahogany sides with parquetry panels bordered by cock-beading incorporating a hinged door on an outswept cavetto moulded base with breakfront feet, 18” (46 cm) high used independently, 23½” (60 cm) wide, 15 (39.5 cm) deep, combined height; 32” (81 cm).
