Description
A Late Edo Period Japanese Carved Figural Inro in the form of a seated cross-legged demon; the netsuke face forming a lid to the front carved with gaping mouth and scaring mother-of pearl eyes, secured by cord running up through the top and looped through the hands of the upheld arms, 4” (10 cm) high, 3” (8 cm) wide, 2½” (6.5 cm) deep.
