An 18th Century Dutch Brass Tobacco Box of oval form, Circa 1720. The flat hinged lid engraved with a rural scene depicting a man on horseback before cottages. The base with a falconer within an inscribed border (worn). The side with scrolls of undulating zoomorphic foliage harbouring a diminutive huntsman, hounds and a rabbit amongst the scrolls, 1¼” (3 cm) high, 4” x 3” (10 cm x 7.5 cm).
