An Impressive Oriental Lacquered Tripod Table. The generous scallop-edged top emblazoned with a flamboyant peacock with mother-of-pearl overlay to it’s gilded plumage, and peonies rising up either side, depicted in raised lacquers displayed against a scarlet ground. The ebonised base having a turned centre pedestal on carved, scrolling legs, 28” (71 cm) high, 47” (120 cm) in diameter.
